January:  Brush-up on your winter camping skills for the Winter Camporee, held from January 26 thru the 28th. 

February:  At trip to Pokagon State Park for camping, tobogganing, and other winter sports activities is being proposed for the 10th and 11th. 

March:  The perennial troop favorite, Possum Trot, is being considered for the weekend of the 23rd.  The mandatory gun safety lecture (for those who wish to shoot) will be held on the 5th.

April:  A return to another excellent location, Sugar Creek, has been proposed for the weekend of the 21st.  Expect camping at either Shades or Turkey Run State Park and canoeing during the day.

May: A backpacking trip to Flag of Nations (a.k.a.  Bear Wallow) has been proposed for the 11th-13th to offer training for the summer High Adventure trip.

June:  A High Adventure trip to Isle Royale (open to everyone within the troop) has been chosen.  The duration will be approximately one week.  Sam R. has recently been chosen as the hiking crew leader.

July:  The troops annual pilgrimage to Ransburg Scout Camp (also open to everyone within the troop) has been set for the 22nd thru the 28th.

August:  The troop will attempt to go to either Warren or Van Buren Dunes on the weekend of the 11th.

September:  A return to Round Barn, the first in several years, has been chosen.  Either shooting, biking, or another activity may be decided upon.
